J Balvin, the famous reggaeton singer from Colombia, will perform at the halftime show of this year’s FIFA Club World Cup Final. He will join other big stars like Doja Cat and Tems, a singer from Nigeria. The show is expected to be exciting, like a Super Bowl halftime show.
The performance will happen on July 13 and is being planned by Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay. It is part of a special project called the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. The goal is to raise $100 million dollars to help kids around the world get a better education. For every ticket sold in the U.S., one dollar will go toward this cause.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is different this year. It has 32 teams and is happening in different cities across the United States from June 14 to July 13. One of the first matches will be Lionel Messi’s team, Inter Miami, playing against Al Ahly from Egypt.
The final game and the big halftime show will take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. This stadium holds over 82,000 people and has hosted other huge events like the Super Bowl and concerts by Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Ed Sheeran. It will also be the stadium for the 2026 World Cup Final.
J Balvin brings Latin flavor to the show, adding reggaeton to a mix of music that also includes hip-hop and Afrobeats. The event will bring people and cultures from all over the world together through music and sports.
