💡 Entrepreneurship is part of the Latin DNA. If you know someone of Latin origin, it's likely they have started a business, are in the process of doing so, or know someone who will.
Without a doubt, this is not a surprise, but as a community, we can take steps to support each other. With a contribution of $650 million to the United States economy, there should be no reason for Latin businesses not to thrive.
Here are three ways to support local Hispanic small businesses:
1. Buy Locally: Make a conscious effort to buy products and services from locally owned Hispanic businesses. This includes restaurants, shops, beauty salons, grocery stores, and other businesses. By spending your money at local businesses, you directly contribute to your community's economy.
2. Promote Them on Social Media: Help give visibility to local Hispanic businesses by sharing their products and services on your social media. Leave positive online reviews and share their posts to help increase their reach and attract new customers.
3. Participate in Local Events: Attend local events and fairs where Hispanic businesses have the opportunity to showcase and sell their products. This not only allows you to discover unique products but also provides direct support to local entrepreneurs.
By following these steps and encouraging others to do the same, we can foster a supportive environment for Latino-owned businesses and contribute to the economic growth of the community. It's an excellent way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and make a lasting positive impact.
